Idea A window containing text and embedded objects. See and
Topic A set of ideas. Physically, each Topic is stored as an individual file in the Topic Folder. See
Topic Folder The folder which contains all of the Topic files and the Global Idea. This folder is automatically created in the Preferences folder when you first use Idea Keeper. You can select any folder desire. See
Current Topic The Topic which is currently open. The current topic is indicated in the Organizer Window by being drawn in bold, red type. Also referred to as "Active Topic".
Organizer Window A window containing two lists. The list on the left contains all of the Topics which are available. The list on the right contains the list of all the ideas in the current Topic.
Global Idea An idea which is not contained within a Topic. Rather, this idea is available regardless of which Topic is active.

Style Template A saved "template" describing a combination of text characteristics including font, size, style, and color. See
Auto Indent A feature which allows some simple formatting (tabs & bullets) to be automatically copied from one paragraph to the next. See
Background Window A window which is displayed when Idea keeper is in the background and the "Show Icon Window" option is enabled. See
